Group Financial Controller

Management of all financial accounting and reporting, statutory reporting, consolidation of accounts and ensuring that accounting standards are maintained to the Company Finance requirements and in accordance with the statutory requirements of Malaysia.
- Establish accounting policies in line with accounting standard.
- Managing the compilation of all the performance reports and financial planning and analysis for the company.
- Managing the compilation of financial year budget, forecasts, profit plan and strategic plan and assist GM to monitor the progress of the business actual to plan throughout the year.
- Managing the risk assessment and drive risk mitigation. Manage the renewal of insurance cover and insurance claims for the company.
- Lead to ensure smooth process of the month end closing accounts procedures and year
- end closing accounts procedures.
- Be an agent of change and together with senior management team for drive efficiency and effectiveness in operation, procurement, sales & marketing and projects.
- Ensure completion of annual external audit and provide assistance and explanation in internal audit to improve control and effectiveness of the organization.
- Take control and lead GL control, Accounts, Billing, Cash Management and Credit Policy and Procedures for Malaysia consistent with the Company framework to provide a strong internal control, risk management, and efficient workflow.
- To drive improvements in AP, AR & inventory and CAPEX management.
- Responsible for Treasury management and adhere to Treasury policies and procedures. Ensure compliance to Central bank reporting & requirements. Deals with bank on hedging, borrowing and investing.
- Participate actively in the procurement, tender & credit approval committee to ensure effectiveness of purchase decision.
- Together with GM, drive performance to achieve the goals and targets set for the company.
- Assuming Company Secretarial responsibilities and ensuring Board papers and prepared well advance before the Board meeting.
- Perform any other duties as and when assigned by management from time to time.

**Job Requirements**:

- Possess at least Degree in Accounting, Audit or Economics and must be a members of a professional accounting bodies such as MIA, CPA and so on.
- Minimum 8 years' experience as Financial Controller in multinational Corporation and have direct responsibility in managing a financial function or at least 3 years direct report with CFO.
- Demand considerable leadership expertise and proven experience in relevant disciplines. It is a role which has high exposure and visibility to both internal and external stakeholders, and the company’s regional and corporate finance teams.
- This position will exert significant influence in the conduct of working capital management and performance in Malaysia. The consequence of error, fraud or incompetence in the areas covered by this role is considerable potential loss to the organization.
- Required to serve Malaysia and has total functional responsibility for the financial planning & analysis, financial accounting and reporting and general ledger control, billing, credit operations and cash.
- To develop the finance team and motivate the team to excel whilst providing work assignments with challenging objectives.

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM25,000.00 per month
