**Job Purpose**:
The Project Manager - Interior Design will oversee the entire design and execution process of interior design projects, from conceptualization to final installation. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the client’s vision and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Planning & Management**:
Manage the full lifecycle of interior design projects, from initial client briefing to project handover.

Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client goals and expectations.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- **Design Coordination**:
Collaborate with the interior design team to conceptualize and refine design ideas that meet the client’s needs and vision.

Review and approve design documents, drawings, material selections, and technical specifications.

Ensure design intent is maintained during construction and installation phases.
- **Client Management**:
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring regular communication and updates throughout the project.

Present design proposals, provide progress reports, and manage client feedback and revisions.

Address and resolve any issues or changes to ensure client satisfaction.
- **Budget & Cost Control**:
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and align with financial goals.

Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for furniture, fixtures, and other interior design elements.

Oversee procurement, deliveries, and installation to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
- **Team Collaboration & Leadership**:
Lead and mentor junior designers, draftsmen, and project coordinators throughout the project.

Facilitate coordination between design teams, construction teams, and external consultants.

Ensure a high level of team performance, delivering projects on time and to the highest standards.
- **Risk Management & Problem Solving**:
Identify potential project risks, delays, or challenges and implement solutions to mitigate them.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards throughout the project.
- **Quality Assurance**:
Oversee quality control during the construction phase, ensuring materials, workmanship, and final deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.

Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design integrity and project specifications are followed.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

**Experience**:
5+ years of experience in project management within the interior design or construction industry.

Experience managing high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality interior design projects is preferred.

**Skills**:
Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead projects from start to finish.

Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and project management tools.

Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and time management skills.

**Certifications**: _PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certifications are an advantage._
