**Brief Position Description**:
The IT Procurement and Asset Management Specialist works within the IT Service Delivery and Compliance Team to oversee the daily and long-term strategic management of IT Hardware and Software Assets for Novotech Health Holdings with a focus on optimal procurement to meet rapid staff growth, vendor/supplier cost and performance management, commercial software procurement + compliance, fixed asset, and related financial reporting.

**Minimum Qualifications & Experience**:

- Degree in an information technology related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in global asset management.
- Experience in IT Asset Management and discovery tools.
- Ability to gather and analyse asset metrics to ensure inventory data is accurate and stock levels are adequately maintained.
- An understanding of the ISO 27001 standard framework. Ability to review and integrate current processes to enable optimum and effective strategy development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Management of suppliers, establishment of contacts and pricing agreements.
- Execution of procurement operations (pricing negotiation, quotations, order placing).
- Execution of inventory operations (stocking, stock replenishment, stock inspection, and stock returning).
- Work with IT Service Delivery and Office Admin teams on effective supply and distribution channels.
- Liaise with Finance on projected headcounts and negotiate with vendors to ensure optimal procurement of licensing. Work with functional and operations owners to develop financial year budgets to ensure adequate new and current business requirements are met.
