Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Analyst/Coordinator with expertise in IT Audit & Risk Management to support project delivery, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and mitigate IT risks. This role combines project coordination responsibilities with an emphasis on supporting IT audit activities and risk assessments to maintain robust IT governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
- Plan, schedule, and monitor project activities to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including timelines, risk logs, and status reports.
- Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams, track actions, and follow up on deliverables.
IT Audit Support:
- Assist in preparing for internal and external IT audits by gathering evidence, preparing documentation, and coordinating with relevant teams.
- Track and monitor audit findings, ensuring timely closure of identified gaps.
- Maintain a repository of audit artifacts, such as system logs, access control records, and policy documentation.
- Liaise between auditors and IT teams to address inquiries and implement recommendations.
Risk Management:
- Support risk identification, assessment, and mitigation efforts related to IT systems and processes.
- Assist in developing and maintaining risk registers and ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, SOX).
- Monitor IT compliance with policies, procedures, and controls, escalating potential risks to leadership.
- Perform periodic reviews of IT controls and support risk-based decision-making for IT projects.
Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to organizational governance frameworks and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement changes or updates to policies and controls.
- Support the development of training materials and workshops to raise awareness of IT audit and risk management best practices.
Skills and Competencies:
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT governance, audit, and risk management principles.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or Trello).
- Familiarity with compliance standards and frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001, SOX, and NIST.
- Knowledge of access controls, incident management, and change management processes.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, especially when preparing audit evidence and tracking project risks.
- Problem-solving and analytical mindset.

Pay: Up to RM12,000.00 per month
