Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support project delivery within a fast-paced banking technology environment. The Project Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of project activities, timely reporting, and compliance with project governance standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination & Support
- Assist Project Managers in planning, organizing, and executing project activities.
- Coordinate project schedules, resource allocation, and task tracking to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare project documentation including minutes, status updates, RAID logs, and project trackers.
- Support procurement activities, budgeting, and invoice tracking where required.
- Ensure project artifacts meet internal governance and audit standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Assist in communication between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings, workshops, and review sessions.
- Follow up with stakeholders on pending tasks, deliverables, and approvals.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate project records, documentation repositories, and version control.
- Consolidate project status reports, dashboards, and progress updates for leadership reviews.
- Track and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Administrative & Support Tasks
- Ensure timely submission of project deliverables and compliance documents.
- Handle logistical arrangements and coordination for project-related activities.
- Support onboarding of project team members, including access, tools, and documentation setup.
Skills & QualificationsEssential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Project Management, or related field.
- 2–5 years' experience supporting IT or banking projects.
- Strong coordination, documentation, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience creating reports, dashboards, and project trackers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good-to-Have
- Experience in banking or financial services environment.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, or project management frameworks (PMP/Prince2 exposure).
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or similar PM too
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM8, RM12,000.00 per month
