Certificate in occupational health and safety
- Proven experience as a safety officer
- In-depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures
- Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
- Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus

1) Assist in the implementation of Occupational Health & Safety requirements at the site.

3) Assist maintaining the site ERP plans and procedures.

4) Ensure all equipment and machineries at site are complied with relevant codes.

5) To assist in develop safety and health policies, procedure, rules & regulations for construction site use.

6) To liaise with contractor’s appointed safety supervisors or representatives for compliances to the integrated Management System (QESH).

7) To assist any field staff in carrying out duty under the OSHA Act or regulation made under the act.

8) Ensure site ESH documentations are maintained up to date and filing in place accordingly.

9) Develop a checklist for monitoring of safety/ security procedure and compliance and to prepare safety manuals and work procedure at site.

10) Participate in any incident or accident investigation, report preparation and ensure implementation of the corrective actions are being carried out.

11) Liaise with the DOSH, local authority and other relevant government agencies with regard to health, safety and security matters.

12) To implement and monitor aspect of Safety Management System activities at the site.

13) Checking of sub-contractors’ work to ensure compliance with the Act and the Regulations made thereunder are complied with.

14) Liase with contractor’s safety supervisors appointed under Regulation 26 with respect to safety of work undertaken by sub-contractors.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
