**Job Title: Early Childhood Lecturer**

Position Summary: The Early Childhood Lecturer is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and facilitating learning experiences for students pursuing studies in early childhood education. This role involves designing and delivering engaging lectures, leading discussions, and assessing student performance. The Early Childhood Lecturer plays a crucial role in preparing future educators for the field by imparting knowledge, skills, and practical experiences related to early childhood development, teaching methodologies, and curriculum design.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conducting lectures and facilitating discussions on various topics related to early childhood education.
- Developing and delivering course materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and handouts.
- Providing guidance and support to students in their academic progress and career development.
- Assessing and evaluating student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Incorporating innovative teaching methods, technologies, and resources to enhance learning outcomes.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of advancements and trends in early childhood education.
- Mentoring and advising students, including providing guidance on research projects and internships.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and revise curriculum content to meet industry standards.
- Participating in departmental meetings, committees, and professional development activities.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- A minimum of a **Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education with Bachelor of Early Childhood Education **is preferred for MQA purposes.
- Relevant teaching experience in early childhood education with at least 2 years’ experience in kindergarten or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of theories, principles, and best practices in early childhood education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using instructional technologies and digital tools for teaching and learning.
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging lectures and facilitate interactive discussions.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Passion for early childhood education and a genuine interest in the success of students.
