Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 
Lecturer
 to join our 
Diploma in Early Childhood Education
 team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, a commitment to student-centered learning and the ability to deliver engaging lessons aligned with 
MQA and MQF Level 4
 requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct lectures, tutorials and online learning sessions for Diploma in Early Childhood Education students.
  • Develop, review and update teaching and learning materials (including Self-Instructional Materials for ODL).
  • Assess student performance through assignments, projects and examinations in accordance with programme requirements.
  • Provide academic guidance, mentoring and feedback to students.
  • Participate in curriculum review, programme improvement and academic meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional and MQA academic quality standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualification:
     Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field (Master's Degree is an added advantage).
  • Experience:
     1–2 years of teaching experience in Early Childhood Education at a higher education institution.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse learners.
  • Familiarity with 
    Open and Distance Learning (ODL)
     delivery will be an added advantage.
  • Passionate about nurturing future early childhood educators and committed to continuous improvement.
