**Job description**:

- **Full-time, non-remote position**:

- To translate/ edit contents for drama/ animations/ movies/ variety shows/ documentaries/ website content;
- To work closely with supervisor and freelancers for assignments and delivery schedule;
- To proofread, review and correct own work as well as other translators’ work, and ensure a consistently high standard is attained;
- To ensure the work from freelance translators are met the required quality;
- To edit and proofread materials for small to large size translation and audiovisual projects;
- To originate, simulate, spot and transcript;
- To perform subtitling quality assurance tasks;
- To do subtitle cueing for drama, movies, etc;
- To do script polishing for dubbing use;
- To complete assigned tasks with accuracy and quality.

**Requirements**:

- Equipped with powerful linguistic skill in local languages such as Mandarin**, **Bahasa Malaysia and English as you will need to translate/ edit contents for drama/ animations/ movies/ variety shows/ documentaries/ website content; proofread, review and correct own work; as well as editing the works of other translators, thus ensuring output of the highest quality;
- Thorough knowledge of language usage, including grammar, diction, style, punctuation, and organization;
- Linguistic skill in foreign languages such as Korean/ Japanese/ Indonesian/ Thai is an additional point;
- Knowledge of file formats for subtitling, familiarity with subtitle reading speeds, time codes, line and positioning compliance, safe areas and all restrictions (legal and otherwise) relating to subtitling standard practice;
- Creativity and attention to detail;
- Excellent prioritization skills and attention to detail is a must ;
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize work;
- **Fresh graduates** who have a passion for translation are encouraged to apply.

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
