**DESCRIPTION**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

- Will take responsibility for the Food Section, Non-Food Section, Beer, Wine, Spirits, and any sub-department that falls under the Grocery Department.
- Fully informed about stock ordering, as well as the schedule for delivery via direct suppliers and the Distribution Centre (DC).
- Maintain a high-end standard, encompassing pricing, inventory organization, layout arrangements, and a concentration on indent goods.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient processes and adherence to company policies and standards.
- Manage and mentor department managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to adjust strategies and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting for the grocery division, monitoring expenses and profitability.
- Scheduled weekend activities, including those from suppliers, such as roadshows, sampling, etc., aimed at enhancing sales.
- Planned and Execute on Stocktake Outright twice a year.
- Drive employee engagement and training programs to build a knowledgeable and customer-focused team.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail management, with at least 3 years in a grocery division.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team and driving sales growth.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Pay: RM3,950.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
