**Job Summary**

The Production Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing detailed production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products, alignment with customer demand, and efficient use of resources. This role plays a key part in balancing material availability, capacity planning, inventory levels, and production efficiency while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Production Planning & Scheduling**
- Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels.
- Translate demand into production work orders, considering available capacity, materials, and lead times.
- Adjust plans proactively to accommodate changes in demand, supply disruptions, or production issues.

**2. Capacity & Resource Management**
- Analyze production capacity and resource availability (labor, machine, materials) to ensure production feasibility.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to optimize machine utilization and avoid bottlenecks.
- Highlight and escalate potential capacity constraints or conflicts in schedules.

**3. Material Coordination**
- Work closely with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages or overstock situations.
- Collaborate with purchasing to expedite or defer materials when necessary.

**4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting**
- Track and report on production adherence, schedule attainment, and on-time delivery performance.
- Analyze root causes of missed targets and recommend corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning and manufacturing processes.

**5. Cross-functional Collaboration**
- Collaborate with the Order Management Team, Customer Service, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure alignment on priorities and production changes.
- Attend daily/weekly production meetings to review status, challenges, and plan adjustments.
- Coordinate with logistics for outbound delivery timelines and requirements.

**Specific Tasks**:
- Create and manage production schedules efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of products and acknowledge customer order within 2 working days.
- Handle customers expedite and change request with follow process within 1 working day.
- Maintain bucket planning in system as plant capacity and plan.
- Schedule Sales order, release production order for MTS products timely and monitor production completion to meet the plan and customer requirement.
- Coordinate the best option between order fulfillment team and plant when plan does not meet and provide late notice with revised date.
- Communicate material supply and status between store and purchasing.
- Co-ordinate to improve system database accuracy.
- Willingness to implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives in production process, system process etc.
- Control and manage best level load method and manpower planning despite of short lead time request, spike demand and material constraints with working closely with production and purchasing.
- Complete tasks in short lead time and committed timeline.
- Follow up closely with production on urgent or special requests.
- Coordinate weekly power to say between planning teams and OFC.
- Update monthly KPI and do pareto analysis.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- **Experience**: 3-5 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a multinational company.
- **Tools**: Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, etc.), Microsoft Excel, and production planning software/tools.
- **Knowledge**:
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, MRP, and inventory management.
- Familiar with ISO standards, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement practices.
