DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform the building authority’s code/statutory duties of a Facility Executive, i.e. manning the sub-station and electrical installations in the building, etc.
2. Maintain the building’s electrical supply, generator, reticulation system, installations and equipment.
3. Manage the overall security, fire safety, workplace health and safety practices.
4. Ensuring all relevant laws, statutes and regulations relating to building services installations are complied with.
5. Maintain cleanliness of general facilities, stores, wards, toilets, plant rooms and workshop, etc.
6. Check the building machine & equipment installed in the centre by weekly/ quarterly checklist.
7. Plan, schedule and carry out maintenance work in accordance to work instructions and procedures.
8. Involved in execution of preventive and corrective maintenance work.
9. Analyse, troubleshoot and repair electronics/ electrical / mechanical components.
10. Update and maintain work records.
11. Perform repair and maintenance works and schedule preventive maintenance tasks.
12. Conduct in training end-user’s / client’s staff on aspects of building services safety.
13. Monitor third party contractors and ensure that safe and legal routines are adhered.
14. Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment procedures while performing responsibilities. Facilitating in implementation of ISO9001.
15. To be on 24-hours standby for emergency response to the building machine and equipment breakdowns. Attend to all power and machines failure/short/trip and rectify promptly.
16. Plan and track budgetary expenses and expenditures.
17. Manage the inventory control of the assets, tools, instruments and spare parts.
18. Prepare and submit weekly water and electricity meter reading and monthly utilities costings.
19. Undertake other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Management from time to time or as and when necessary for the effective realization of the job-purpose.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Certificate of Electrical Competency /Diploma in Electrical, Engineering or its equivalents with at least 2 years’ working experience in handling general facilities maintenance work of a building.
- Competent Chargeman AO Certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia.
- Possess basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and carpentry work.
- Able to use basic maintenance tools.
- Physically fit with a positive work attitude and must be customer service oriented.
- Must possess initiative and able to work with mínimal supervision.

**Job Type**: Permanent
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
