**Responsibilities & Duties**:
Lead the food safety/ quality team in the development, implementation, maintenance, improvement and control of food safety/ quality systems and certifications compliance.
To ensure all standard operating procedures (SOPs) strictly adhere and ensuring that continuous improvements are made to all existing system and practice.
To develop, implement and maintain document control for efficient management and record keeping of all certifications requirement.
Handling all customer complaints by preparing clear and concise reports within the established timeframe by coordinating a full root cause analysis is carried out and proper corrective/ preventive action is taken to address the issues.
Ensure compliance to government, international and all regulatory & policies requirement.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Any ad hoc task as assigned by superior.

**Qualifications & requirements**:
**Education Level**: Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Food Science/ Food Technology with minimum 5 years of related working experiences.
At least 3 years of experience in Managerial Level specialized in Quality Assurance or equivalent in food manufacturing industry.
Experience in implementation of Halal, GMP, HACCP and FSMS certification standards requirement at internal & external auditing level.
Our business started as a cottage industry in the 1970s. Koh’s Traditional Curry Powder, Nyonya curry powder which was sold in bottles to neighbors who brought it overseas when they migrated / have their children study abroad.
To control the quality of its products, Global Traditions Spice Manufacturers was established in 2004, solely to manufacture and distribute its products to the market at large.
In 2013, the owners recognized the need to diversify along the F&B value chain. Given that the group as a whole is mainly dealing in spices, the owners decided that it would best handle snacks with the main ingredients being spices. Hence, the owners leveraged with a factory in Ipoh to manufacture a Malaysian traditional snack, under the brand name Kacang Macha.
GT Spice Manufacturers Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 2015 to handle business on a global front and is committed to achieve better service standards and continuously source high quality products to meet customer satisfaction though the manufacturing, supplying and delivery of premium quality products in line with customers’ request and guaranteed services.
