RESPONSIBILITIES
- This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D / Manufacturing Engineering, and quality control, to ensure that all procurement and supplier management processes are efficient and ,will execute best practices and measure performance through agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
- Development and implementation of global commodity strategies for the responsible commodity in alignment with the key stakeholders and Technical Business Units (TBUs).
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing. Contract management and negotiation.
- Continuously seek opportunities to reduce total cost of ownership through negotiations, supplier collaborations, and alternative sourcing strategies. Monitor and report on commodity cost trends and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Make-or-Buy decision in alignment with the TBUs.
- Close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
- Preparation and creation of presentations, analysis, and reports.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Degree in industrial engineering or other technical/economic studies or commercial training with further education and professional experience.
- Demonstratable experience in procurement, commodity management or global Supply Chain and lead responsibility for international projects.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop effective supplier relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness for and flexibility with international business trips.
- Analytical and solution-oriented operation in close alignment with internal stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with end-users, management, and staff.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities involving internal customer requests and demands.
- Ability to excel in a cross-organizational, cross cultural, global team environment.
- Handle special assignments promptly and professionally.
- Set a high standard of ethics, professionalism, and competency.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
