Position : AS400 / Mainframe Lead
- Employment : Permanent
- Fully worked onsite in Kuala Lumpur
- Normal office hours but need to be on stand by call
**What this role does**:
- Lead and manage an L2 support team handling **AS400, iSeries, or Mainframe** systems
- Focus on **incident restoration**, **problem management** and **service improvement**:
- Handle **system and firmware upgrades**:
- Ensure team can support **24/7 operations** (or 9 hours + on-call)
- Be involved in **service management** (Incidents, Problems, Requests)
**Who we’re looking for**:
- **10-12 years** of leadership experience in managing L2 technical support teams
- Background in **banking or financial services**, either directly or via IT outsourcing
- Hands-on experience with **L2 admin tasks** on AS400 / Mainframe systems
**Not suitable if you are**:
- From a **helpdesk**, **service desk**background
- Only doing monitoring asset or capacity management
- Pure **AS400/Mainframe developer or programmer**
**Job Type**: Permanent
Pay: RM14,500.00 - RM16,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- On call
- Weekend jobs
