**BUSINESS MANAGER**
**(Based in Midvalley, Kuala Lumpur)**
**J**ob Summary**
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead brand plans and operations, monitor trends, optimize resource allocation, and shape brand image. This position will work closely with management on the **launching of a new pastry F&B brand**. The success of the flagship outlet will come with growth opportunities within the company.
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible and entrusted with planning new pastry outlet concept and monitor renovation, conducting market research to execute growth strategies,
- Involve in development and implement portfolio roadmap including pastry product range, brand build, pricing and affordability.
- Update the stakeholders on the status of pastry brand operations and challenges.
- Oversee pastry outlet operations, providing guidance and direction to outlet team on meeting sales target and service demands.
- Ensuring optimum team morale and productivity by providing outlet team with sufficient training and support.
- Develop operation procedures, tracking finances, controlling resource allocation (including manpower and inventory) and ensuring the operation meets the necessary compliances (i.e. food safety, quality and service demands).
- Your work will directly impact the success of the brand and contribute to achieving company-wide growth objectives.
**Requirements**:
- Holds a Bachelors in Pastry & Bakery, Culinary, Hospitality, or Hotel/F&B Management, along with 4-5 years of experience in managing F&B outlets in a specific area, territory, or region.
- Strong business acumen to oversee operational costs and budgeting of the flagship and subsequent outlets.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders and other departments that are supporting the brand launching. High level of collaboration across various teams within the organization is expected.
- Travelling required within KL (planned outlet location) & Petaling Jaya (HQ)
- Salary RM6,000 - RM9,000, to commensurate with experience. Position reports to the Operations Manager_
