E-mobility Program Manager

What’s the role?

As E Mobility Program Manager, you will be responsible for all Real Estate activities required to facilitate the development of charging networks on Shell sites and off-site locations. You will have a clear focus on driving growth, partnership management, continuous improvement, and synergy of end-to-end E-mobility Real Estate delivery, through a range of internal and external partners.

As E-Mobility Program Manager you will be accountable for leading the E-Mobility Real Estate agenda:

- Deliver lease renewals aligned to E-mobility product life cycle.
- Agreement with landlords, planning and zoning authorities, and other stakeholders on the introduction of new offers.
- Manage Real Estate aspects of grid upgrade requests, including property rights, easements, and routing.
- Optimize existing rental agreements and renegotiate and restructure leases in order to stay competitive. Manage any existing e-mobility co-locator contracts.
- Identify and build a pipeline of opportunities at partners (destination locations), standalone E-Mobility hubs, and EV charging at offices and industrial locations.
- Participate in business development activity, including partner due diligence, negotiation of terms, and contracting, Secure locations for long-term future strategic development, and Deliver Acquisition of plots, individual sites, and networks.
- Manage EV post-award real estate contract management, ensuring flawless execution of terms and optimization throughout the contract.
- Interact with the real estate and FM industry and retailing businesses to understand the impact of trends on Shell portfolio and identify commercial opportunities.
- Provide input into Network strategy and acquisition and disposal activities and coordinate with the Global Real Estate Team on policy, standards, and cross-border opportunities.
- Delivery of Network agenda in compliance with MOA and Network Imperatives; Actively leads and supports the Systems/Processes and Master data in PMPS and Contributes to local HSSE from a Network perspective.

It will require the staff involved to collaborate well across Marketing, Sales, Fleet Solutions, CRT, Mobility, and New Energies.
- With strong excellent negotiation skills and a degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Real Estate, Legal, Finance).
- 5-10 years in a professional real estate role with corporate real estate experience.
- Financial / Legal knowledge and experience (e.g., accounting principles, real estate ownership, financing structures, and related issues, contractual conditions for leases
- Professional real estate certification preferred.
- Knowledge and experience of e-mobility deployment and operations is a benefit but as an emerging discipline, a suitable background and willingness to learn are equally important.
- Strong commercial mindset: highly numerate and able to appraise business opportunities, and understand the potential value, risks, and trade-offs. Able to see the big, long-term picture
- Proven economic evaluation and analytical skills.
- Experience in successfully driving project and program delivery and strong interpersonal skills Proven capability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders
