**What will you be engaged in?**
As our new **People & Engagement, Manager,** you will have the opportunity to manage the people & engagement related matters ranging from compensation & benefits, industrial relations, learning & development, employee engagement as well as employee retention in all entities under SOCAR Mobility Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.
- Strategic Planning, Compensation and Payroll_
- Oversee and improve on compensation structures, medical insurance plans, employee benefits and perks
- Oversee monthly payroll for all entities under SOCAR Mobility Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. including but not limited to Trevo MY and Trevo ID by making sure everything is in place and correct before payday
- Manage and prepare payroll; and other HR reports for due diligence and reporting purposes
- Develop, implement and report on strategic, delivery and operational plans including budgetary and other resource requirements
- Maintain employee data and improve on automation processes in the company's HR Management System
- Gather and analyse data using useful HR metrics to provide valuable HR insights
- Industrial Relations & SOFAM Engagement_
- Oversee organisational development strategies within the organisation focusing on leadership, team building and the measurement of outcomes through the quarterly happiness survey
- Work closely with other People's team representatives from each country to transfer knowledge of engagement initiatives
- Oversee and contribute to building partnerships with supervisors (at all levels) to coach, mentor and positively influence employee relations and business unit outcomes
- Manage and own industrial relations related issues to ensure quick turn around time to solve the issue
- Policies_
- Lead the development and implementation of internal policies, strategies and update Company's Staff Book accordingly
- Ensure the company's compliance with labor law and regulations
- Take ownership of special HR projects
- People Support_
- Provide support to employees in HR-related topics such as leaves, benefits and other employee needs
- Resolve work-related issues promptly to maintain a high level of employee satisfaction and motivation
- Initiate and promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace

- Solid understanding of payroll fundamentals and best practices
- Good understanding of payroll taxes (for Malaysian and Expatriates)
- Understanding of general HR policies, labour law and HR procedures
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
