**Description and Requirements**:
Position Description:
This role supports Lenovo’s global eCommerce platform, a high-traffic system driving B2B and B2C sales across 100+ countries and generating billions in annual revenue. As part of the platform’s strategic evolution, the DBA will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of its database infrastructure. This includes optimizing database architectures, integrating cloud-native solutions, and supporting the platform’s growth through robust data management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, maintain, and optimize critical databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, ClickHouse) to support high-concurrency and large-scale data processing.

Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies to ensure business continuity.

Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize SQL queries, index design, and storage engine configurations for performance tuning.

Troubleshoot complex database issues, including latency, downtime, and scalability challenges under high traffic.

Automate routine tasks using scripting tools (Bash, Python, Perl) and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for database deployment.

Document architectures, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing and team alignment.

Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3+ years of hands-on experience in database administration, with expertise in PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, and/or ClickHouse.

Fluent in Mandarin (spoken) and English for effective collaboration with global and regional teams.

Proficiency in database backup/recovery, replication, clustering, and high-availability architectures.

Strong skills in SQL query optimization, index tuning, and storage engine configuration.

Experience managing databases in Linux environments and scripting for automation (Bash, Python, Perl).

Ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues in high-concurrency, big-data scenarios.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to thrive under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Alibaba Cloud RDS, Azure Database).

Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) for database deployment.

Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Exposure to microservices architectures and DevOps practices (Jenkins, GitLab, Argo CD).
