JOB DESRIPTION
- Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
- Manage Database migrations project and ad-hoc database project request
- Ensure database security including backups and disaster recovery
- Handle day-to-day maintenance for database, troubleshooting, and proactive performance tuning
- Ensure quick database recovery in case of major incidents
- Assist teams with complex SQL statement creation and tuning
- Monitor performance of Database and their servers: CPU, IO, memory and storage.
- Install, upgrade, configure, maintain, administer database software and tools
- Install and maintain the performance of database servers and tuning of performance systems including housekeeping.
- Develop processes for optimizing database security.
- Set and maintain database standards and manage database access.
- Recommend emerging database technologies and best practices.
- Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.

SKILL
- Experience in database infrastructure and architecture design
- Experience in database optimisation and performance tuning
- Experience with backup and restore, tablespace allocation/management, managing the overall health and status for database
- Experience in database clustering, high availability and disaster recovery
- Experience with SQL and PL/SQL commands
- Familiarity with Linux operation system and shell scripts
- Oracle DBA experience in handling RAC
- MariaDB Deployment & Admin Experience desirable.
- Oracle Certified Preferred. Minimum OCA Certified.
