**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced and strategic **Finance & Accounts Manager** to lead the full spectrum of accounting and financial operations. This role plays a vital part in driving financial accuracy, compliance, and actionable insights that support business growth and operational excellence.

**Key ResponsibilitiesCore Accounting & Financial Management**
- Oversee the full set of accounts for the company.
- Review monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly performance reports, including account analysis and management/statutory reporting.
- Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Prepare and review annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, financial projections, and monitor actual performance against plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and authorities.
- Serve as custodian of company assets and support expense control efforts.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining operational procedures and financial systems.
- Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by the immediate superior.

**Enhanced Analytical & Strategic Responsibilities**
- Conduct detailed financial variance and causal analyses (SG&A, COS, gross profit, sales mix, inventory).
- Convert accounting results into business insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Identify financial risks and improvement opportunities, providing proactive and practical recommendations.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to align financial insights with market and operational realities.
- Bridge accounting with operations to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Take initiative in identifying issues, analyzing root causes, and implementing solutions independently.
- Enhance analytical methods, reporting formats, and visualization tools to improve management insights.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports, eliminating the need for rechecking.
- Oversee team deliverables; coach and develop team members to strengthen analytical skills.
- Present financial findings clearly, focusing on key impacts and recommended actions.
- Stay updated on accounting and tax regulation changes to ensure full compliance.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**
- Timeliness of monthly closing and reporting.
- Accuracy and reliability of financial reports (within defined error limits).
- Number and quality of actionable insights or improvement proposals submitted quarterly.
- Effectiveness of cross-functional collaboration and support provided to management.
- Quality and depth of variance and causal analyses.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (ACCA, CAT, CIMA or other relevant professional qualifications are acceptable).
- Experience working with IFRS is preferred.
- Minimum **3-5 years of managerial experience**.
- Strong strategic mindset with integrity, professionalism, and a results-driven approach.
- Ability to interpret financial results and translate them into meaningful business implications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and BI tools; able to present findings clearly to management.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.
- Demonstrated accountability, leadership, and participative management style.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
