Role Overview

We are seeking a highly competent and commercially minded Finance & Accounts Manager to lead the company's full spectrum of finance and accounting operations. This role is responsible for ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, insightful financial analysis, and strategic financial planning to support management decision-making and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full set of accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial projections, and monitor performance against targets.
  • Conduct financial variance and causal analysis (SG&A, COS, gross profit, sales mix, inventory).
  • Translate financial data into clear business insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Identify financial risks and improvement opportunities, and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to align financial performance with operations.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and statutory authorities for audit, tax, and compliance matters.
  • Act as custodian of company assets and oversee cost control initiatives.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop the Accounts Team to ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Continuously improve financial processes, reporting formats, and analysis tools.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • (Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CAT, or CIMA are an advantage)
  • IFRS exposure is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in finance or accounting
  • Strong hands-on experience in accounting, financial management, and reporting
  • Experience in consolidated accounting is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to translate financial results into business insights
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and business intelligence tools
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM8, RM12,000.00 per month
