Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including approval of accounting entries, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, tax computations, and other required reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to management.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts using historical data and projected trends.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment issuance, and follow-up on outstanding receivables.
  • Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with relevant tax regulations and support tax planning activities.
  • Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Establish, review, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
  • Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Accountancy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in the Construction and Property Development industry is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
  • Proficient in consolidation processes and financial reporting systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly responsible, committed, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with accounting or developer systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM6,000.00 per month
