Accounts and Finance Executive

Mega First Corporation Berhad (MFCB) Group is seeking for dedicated individuals to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our business.

This role involves supporting the Finance Manager in managing accounting, finance, audit, tax and other related matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting functions in compliance with the Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards ("MFRS").

1.  Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare a full set of accounts independently, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage book-keeping, payment processing, bank reconciliations and other related tasks.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly management reports using the Group's existing software and applicable IT solutions tools.
  • Ensure compliance with MFRS, tax regulations, listing requirements, and other statutory obligations.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, government authorities and other professionals pertaining to financial matters and reports submission.
  • Analyse accounts to identify internal control and risk issues, recommend and implement improvements.
  • Compile necessary information for banking and financing purposes.
  • Assist in the preparation of group consolidated accounts and financial reports.
  • Prepare tax computations and address tax-related queries.
  • Undertake ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

2.  Job Requirements

A.  Qualification

Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. Professional qualifications will be an added advantage.

B.   Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting and finance (with at least 2 years handling full sets of Accounts independently).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles and MFRS applications.
  • Proven experience with e-invoicing systems.
  • Good organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command in both written and spoken English.
