Finance Manager

Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, the Finance Manager will oversee the accounting and financial reporting for a Singapore-based holding company. The role will be based in Selangor, Malaysia and offers a hybrid work arrangement.

**The Finance Manager will be responsible to**:

- Instruct and coordinate the India’s Finance Share Service Center team to handle the full set of accounting including day-to-day operations accounting, compile accounting schedules and prepare reports for a Singapore holding company.
- Coordinate with the India and Thailand’s Business Process Outsource team to accomplish various business & accounting processes.
- Continuously review and streamline accounting processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement necessary controls to ensure the accounting processes & reporting comply with the IFRS, Group’s internal control policies and Group’s management accounting blueprint.
- Ensure all invoice copies, approval records, other accounting documents, and month-end files are completely and systematically filed.
- Handle the annual statutory audit and finalize the audit report as per Group’s schedule.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue Intercompany AR and all AP.
- Perform various management reporting on Group’s SAP and supplementary files for the monthly financial results.
- Reconcile reported figures to ensure alignment across different systems.
- Handle local statutory reporting and ensure timely filing
- Analyze monthly financial results and ensure expenses are in line with the budget.
- Participate in the forecasting and annual budgeting processes, and handle reporting in Group’s SAP system.
- Handle tax reporting and GST filing, Withholding Tax and Corporate Income tax on a timely manner.
- Ensure GST and Withholding Tax on transactions are correctly recorded and paid.
- Coordinate with the tax agent on corporate income tax calculations and transfer pricing tax documentation.
- Handle CAPEX request documentation for the company.
- Handle and implement Group’s project in the company.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the manager.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
- Qualified Accountant with a certified accounting association is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a Finance Manager role.
- Work experience for Singapore company is highly preferred.
- Experience in MNC is an advantage, but not required
- Able to handle full set of accounting of a Singapore entity independently.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting, financial reporting standards and direct & indirect taxes rules.
- Excellent communication, coaching and collaboration skills, to work with the Shared Service Center, Outsource Business Process Center and Regional Finance Team overseas.
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify and address financial issues for immediate rectification.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: Up to RM12,000.00 per month
