**Primary Objective**:

- To target profitable SME business with innovative and unique products.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Production Underwriters**
- Oversees the management risk assessment for SME & Corporate biz
- Conducting risk survey/assessment, providing quotation, and customizing policy wording/coverage
- Evaluate risk for SME / Corporate business in accordance with standards, to ensure profitable growth

**Alternate Business Platform**
- To establish an automated business platform capable of providing immediate quotations in order to secure profitable businesses.

**Innovative Products/ Services**
- To develop easy to sell, easy to claim products targeting SME businesses
- Build relationship and grow collaborative effort with RHB Bank (SME and Corporate).
- To target profitable SME business with innovative and unique products
- Support Squad Lead to ensure alignment to journey vision and key goals
- Together with Squad Lead, plan for operationalization and scaling up developed solutions
- Bring product related and frontline process and customer related knowledge to the team
- Ensure delivery of journey against budget
- Proactively evaluate the SME/Corporate Customer journey to see potential enhancements
- Responsible for collating data, interviews customers, and conducting research to support design and enhancements to SME/Corporate journey

**Governance**
- Ensure underwriting assessment adhere to underwriting authority, business rules & regulations & guidelines
- To identify new business opportunities and stratergise marketing approach.
- To mobilize team to develop new business opportunities including marketing, underwriting, communication with the prospects and clients.
- Support the Squad Lead to plan tasks required for delivery of Quest
- Support identification and interpretation of data/ reports/ research results
- Document and refine product specifications (documentation of deliverables of squad)
- Prepare reports/presentations based on the analysis for external & internal communications
- Coach and guide squad members on cconducting risk survey/assessment, providing quotation, and customizing policy wording/coverage
- Coordinate interaction between internal teams to deliver solutions to clients
- Requirements

**Requirements**:
Bachelor Degree -.
- AMII (Associateship of The Malaysian Insurance Institute) or any equivalent accreditation.

10 years working experience in General Insurance industry
- Design Thinking capabilities to understand customer personas, needs and pain points
- Understanding of SME & Corporate-related products and market landscape/ future trends
- Forward-thinking strategic mindset
- Highly organized and detail-oriented when necessary to execute strategies and initiatives
- Understanding of related regulatory and compliance guidelines
- Able to balance and consider risk levels in product development
- Able to empower teams & make decisions effectively
- Ability to delegate work effectively
- Well informed on the developments in the relevant domain
- Understanding of key bank processes
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
