**A) R&D**

1. Taking charge of the Business Unit, which responsibilities include New Product development, product innovation and marketing/sales promotion. Job Scope covers product formulation, Product development/ Plant trials, packaging development, sourcing of materials.

2) Keeping abreast of emerging markets trends and technology advancement, selection of new ingredients and pack materials and product designs.

3) Working seamlessly with marketing, production, engineering, sales and procurement team to meet innovation agenda for company

4) To lead / monitor the projects progress against agreed QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) driver.

**B) Quality Control**

Safety/Security/Hygiene
- Supervise the implementation and maintenance of all Food safety and hygiene procedures in accordance with company policies and standards.
- To monitor factory GMP and ensure timely and effective corrective actions are taken.

Food Safety and Quality System Management - System Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all ISO, HACCP, GFSI (FSSC), HALAL and other relevant standards, including customer/external audit requirements;
- Prepare and complete internal, second
- and third-party audits;
- Build up good relationship with local authorities and assure full compliance with national and international quality/food safety related legislation;
Food Safety and Quality System Management - Measurements and Testing
- Oversees the accuracy and timely completion of all quality measurements, records and reports;
- Maintain measurement database integrity.
- Controls and reports all non-conformances according to documented procedures;
- Ensures completion of all customer required testing.

Food Safety and Quality System Management - Customer Relationship Management regarding Quality issues
- Works with all stakeholders including Product Development, Production, Commercial teams and customers to determine optimized processes to meet customer requirements;
- Assist on periodic customer visits where needed;
- Coordinate customer complaint process;
- Complete survey and questionnaire and answer technical questions from customers.
- Audit suppliers and sub-contractors per requirement;
- Closely work with Purchasing/Sourcing on new suppliers’ development; Manage the team
- Ensure all employees understand and follow company policies and procedures;
- Provide training and supervision to all personnel in quality testing;
- Guide, coach, train and develop QA team members.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
