Established in 1961, Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM) is the pioneer in the flour milling industry in Malaysia. Over the years, MFM has grown to become one of the leading flour millers in Malaysia. Outside of Malaysia, MFM also has presence in the flour milling industry in Vietnam and Indonesia. In Indonesia, MFM is one of the shareholders in PT Bungasari Flour Mills Indonesia, along with Toyota Tsusho Group (Japan) and PT FKS Food and Ingredients (Indonesia).

MFM ventured into the poultry feed business in 1983 and since then has expanded considerably across the poultry value chain in breeding, farming and processing, to become one of the leading poultry integrators in Malaysia.

In November 2019, MFM commissioned a new state-of-the-art poultry processing plant with a processing capacity of up to 280,000 birds per day. MFM’s group revenues in FY19 were RM2.7 billion.

**Job Description**:
As an intern, you will be given the opportunity to interact with the operational teams to learn and gain insight into the business operations. Internal training and coaching will also be given to developing your technical knowledge and soft skills.

**Job Description**:

- 1. Assist in verifying all supplier invoices or others have been approved, processed and taken into accounts timely and accurately for closing purpose.

2. Assist to process payment to all approved supplier invoices within the credit term and in accordance with approved procedures.

3. Perform creditor reconciliations for suppliers to ensure all transactions have been properly taken up and to detect error.

4. Ensure filing is done timely and properly for easy retrieval of information.

5. Assist in administrative activities and/or undertake special assignment to learn more about accounting and office operations.

6. Perform any other task and assignments as directed by the Management from time to time.
