Responsible for negotiating, selecting, and managing suppliers to achieve competitive cost, quality, reliability, and delivery performance for the maximum benefit of the Company.
- Develop, negotiate and administer purchasing agreements or contracts.
- Ensure material available for production according to the respective schedule.
- Accountable for all aspect of inbound and outbound material flow.
- Monitor timely release of PO to suppliers and track delivery lead time.
- Supervise and improve the procurement work flow.
- Provides materials planning and control information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
- Reviews orders and reschedule according customer forecast.
- Manage purchasing documentation and customer audit.
- Provide accurate and timely communication of production shortages or delays which could impact customer deliveries.
- Manage the establishment and maintenance of production capacity plans based on material availability, customer expectations and production capabilities.
- Coordinate activities and provide formal feedback of production, engineering and planning performance as of relates to output and on time delivery
- Directs activities of planners to ensure that inventory level and turn goals are achieved, including reduction of back orders and enhancing customer service.
- Review issues and make recommendations that deal with long-term constraints, customer service levels, inventory targets, the current forecast, and backlog.
- Track and report performance to plans.
- Manage team of planners and buyers
- Manage budget and cost control.
- Interface with all concerned functions to maintain a continuous flow of information; correct problems/discrepancies and implement changes/adjustments
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management when required and/or deemed necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent with minimum of 10 years’ experience in planning, purchasing or sourcing.
- Strong analytical, strategic skills, negotiation skills, attention to detail and high levels of integrity
- Capable of conducting contract negotiations
- Results oriented and resourceful
- Ability to work collaboratively as a cross-functional team member with Production, Quality, Engineering, Customer Service, etc.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint

**Salary**: RM10,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
