About the role

We are looking for an experienced Purchaser OR Planner to join our thriving team at Kanhseei Teckh Sdn Bhd. Based in Johor Bahru, Johor, this full-time role will be responsible for managing all purchasing and inventory planning activities to support our growing manufacturing and logistics operations.

As a Planner, you will play a crucial role in the production planning and scheduling process, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of our products to our customers

What you'll be doing

PURCHASER

  1. Forecast and plan inventory requirements based on production schedules and sales forecasts
  2. Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices, quality and delivery terms for raw materials and components
  3. Manage and maintain supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods
  4. Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimise stock holding costs
  5. Analyse purchasing and inventory data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  6. Collaborate with production, logistics and finance teams to optimise purchasing and inventory management

PLANNER

  1. Develop and maintain production plans to meet customer demand and production targets
  2. Analyse production data and identify areas for improvement in the planning and scheduling process
  3. Monitor and adjust production plans in response to changes in demand or supply chain dynamic

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a purchasing or planning role or both within the Electrical & Electronics or other relevant Manufacturing industry
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  3. Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
  4. Proficient in using SQLsystems and data analysis tools
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams
  6. Relevant degree or diploma in Purchasing or any related field.
