Central Operations was born in 2017 and is the backbone operations for foodpanda in APAC. We are around 1800 employees internally and more than 4000 outsourced employees supporting 11 different countries and in their respective languages. The role of a Lead, Talent Acquisition here at Central Ops is someone whom can look into the whole spectrum of Recruitment (recruiting, hiring, onboarding & internal mobility). To be successful in this role, you should be someone who loves challenges and who loves to get noticed for closing a tough role with very tough requirements (basically launch moonshots). And if you googled "launch moonshots", then you are the self-starter we need. **What you will do**: - Where necessary manage fast past recruitments that may or may not be within the standard guidelines/policies_ - Lead the Recruitment team and ensure targets and timelines are met for both volume as well as niche hires. - Develop a thorough understanding of the business, hiring manager needs and specific talent pools - Work with the key stakeholders to advise on the future direction of talent acquisition, giving key input on budgets, strategies and timelines - Manage all internal and external recruitment activities including promotions & internal mobility. - Cover the end to end recruitment process which includes contractual agreements, working with local legislations on expat hiring process, onboarding, document collection as well as employer branding initiatives. - Work closely with local universities and collaborate on internship opportunities. - Manage, update and maintain the ATS system, where role is not limited to maintaining, cleaning but also ensuring all job ads are up to company standards and protects our brand image. - Provide general training and direction related to a talent acquisition process or system for HR professionals as well as hiring managers within the business - Actively study and provide talent insights & EVP for each role, to ensure the company keeps up with times and market offerings. - To succeed in the Talent Acquisition Manager role, you will need to be able to work effectively and cooperatively with senior management teams across borders and within the internal matrix. **Requirement**: - Degree holder in any relevant discipline. - Overall a minimum of 6 years in Talent Acquisition with exposure to hiring niche roles such as volume contact center style hiring. - A minimum of 2 years leadership experience managing a minimum team of 5 - Hands-on, knows the recruitment process in and out - A person with numbers as a core and can provide insights and suggestions pro-actively - Strong command of English & Malay (Cantonese / Mandarin would be a plus) - Experience in using various interviewing methods and assessment tools to select the right talent for vacant positions **At Central Operations we "Work smarter together", "Always add value" & "Look for trouble", these are our guiding principles that will make us a Center of Excellence in no time.
