**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- To ensure the integrity of Halal processing by continuously and consistently monitoring the compliance to the Syariah (Islamic Law).
- To ensure compliance to all guidelines issued by Malaysian authorities such as Halal Assurance Management System of Malaysia Halal Certification by Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM).
- Responsible for halal certification for company and products related to company.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Halal Assurance System, Quality standards and procedures to meet the company’s Halal and Quality Objectives.
- Attend to internal and external complaints relating to halal integrity issues.
- To responsible and liaise with JAKIM on halal related matters.
- Liaise with Purchasing Department to verify product compliance with specifications.
- Liaise with related departments such as R&D, QA, Export and Production department to verify any new product, formulation on raw material changes, or any related halal issue.
- Conduct Halal and GMP training to all production workers.
- Actively implement and ensure HACCP / ISO22000 / HALAL SOP’s are complied, implemented and support all documentation functions.
- Conduct internal audit SOPs
- Implement Strict QC SOPs, training with operators and conduct QC of product quality parameters daily
- Continuous initiative efforts for improvement of internal systems.
- Assist in various production support functions as required by management from time to time.
- Responsible and maintaining food quality system: ISO22000, HACCP, HALAL and other related food system.
- Responsible for supplier audit, customer audit or third-party audit.
- Manage training of the quality and production team on relevant food safety issue such as GMP awareness.
- Provide guidance on quality assurance and quality control activities.
- Responsible to handle, coordinate and update customer complaint and food safety related issues.
- Ensure the adherence of factory team to food safety system by patrol and audit programmed to produce consistency goods, regulatory compliance products and meet customer expectation.

**JOB REQUIREMENT**:

- At least 2-3 years proven working experience in similar capacity in manufacturing sector preferably in food industry.
- At least Diploma / Degree in Food Science and Technology
- Required Skill(s): HACCP, ISO22000, MESTI, HALAL
- Preferably Executive specialized in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.
- Must possess own transport
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Fast learner and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Focus to details.
- Can start work immediately or with short notice will be added advantageous.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
