**Key responsibilities**
- Develop and execute hiring strategies to attract and retain qualified talent.
- Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
- Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs
- Spearhead all the HR policies, procedures and strategic HR initiatives from conceptualization to implementation. Ensure all the necessary standards and processes are in compliance and alignment of the HR practices across different business units.
- Build and sustain an optimal engagement level through effective HR programmed and initiatives in line with business expectation
- Manage requirement and cost of HR by optimizing effective and appropriate human-job fit at the respective business unit.
- Address employee relations issues, including counselling, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
- Implement performance management systems such as goal setting, performance reviews and support employee development, including onboarding, evaluations, promotions, and succession planning.
- Able to work independently on manpower planning and budgeting such as payroll, training etc.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improv employee retention
- Support managers in handling employee performance issues constructively
- Update management on new labour regulations and ensure the company’s practices comply
- Implement HR systems and software to streamline HR operations

**Requirements**:

- Fluency in English written and oral communication skills
- Minimum 8 years of HR experience with at least 5 years in managerial roles; hospitality experience preferred.
- In-depth understanding of local labour laws, tax regulations, and requirements
- Excellent communication and personnel management skills, confident, pleasant, and firm, able to collaborate with various levels including management.
- A need to be the point of contact for all related HR matters.
- Strong planning and coordination abilities.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to formulate and drive HR strategy execution.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
