**Job Summary**:
Responsible for production output, quality, on-time delivery, process improvement, safety and housekeeping in the manufacturing line to manufacture high quality products for customers with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations within department guidelines, work protocols and corporate policies.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To lead and guide a section of production staff to achieve productivity, on time delivery, quality objectives and departmental KPIs
- To create work discipline and motivation to production staff.
- Assemble electronic and mechanical parts to build machines based on required specifications, drawings and work instruction.
- Conduct functional and leak test, identify errors and conduct rework if required.
- Ensure full and efficient passdown to the next shift
- Collaborate with engineers in line issues problem solving and troubleshooting
- Escalate up for any unresolve problems or abnormalities for resolution
- Lead in continuous improvement activities
- Train and guide new comers (Buddy System)
- Support other ad-hoc activities and tasking that assign by the superior

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Possess people management skill
- A roles model and Good Teamwork
- Basic computer literacy
- Possess hands-on experience in equipment manufacturing and troubleshooting
- Possess strong problem solving & analytical skills

**Educational/Certification Requirement**:

- NITEC / Higher NITEC or its equivalent
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Engineering

**Experience Requirement**:

- Able to comprehend electrical / mechanical drawings
- Willing to commit to the shift pattern and OT if required
- Able to carry heavy loads (up to 20Kg)
- Must be willing to work in the cleanroom environment: wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet and safety shoes
- Must be willing to work shift work
- Responsible, Self-motivated, Committed and Good interpersonal skills

**Work Experience**:

At least 3 years relevant experience in manufacturing/aerospace/engineering industry

**Work Hours**: 08:30am - 05:30pm / 08:30pm - 05:30am

**Physical Demands**: able to carry some weight (up to 20kg) - due to need to push the machines or carry the material parts to the station
