**Allowance**:up to RM 2,000/month
**Working days**: 5 days a week (Dayshift)

**Overall Job Objectives**:
As an Accounting Intern, you will support our finance and accounting team by assisting with daily accounting operations, financial analyses, and compliance tasks. This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on exposure to real financial workflows, enhance your technical accounting skills, and prepare you for a future career in accounting.

**THE JOB**:

- Enter financial data accurately into accounting software systems
- Handle incoming phone enquiries and communications related to accounting tasks
- Assist in preparing and reconciling financial statements and management reports
- Maintain and organise administrative accounting documentation (invoices, receipts, etc.)
- Participate in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Assist in managing Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), sales & receipts, and bank statement reconciliations under Accountant supervision
- Generate payment vouchers and issue cheques as required
- Support completion of other finance tasks or special projects as assigned

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- Pursuing or recently completed a relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts
- Comfortable and efficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and accounting software platforms
- Strong data entry skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to organise work well and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills for handling enquiries
- **Ability to commit to the internship for at least 6 months**

**Key Deliverables**:

- Accurate and timely entry of financial transactions and journal entries
- Completion of bank and account reconciliations; any discrepancies identified and resolved
- Invoices, receipts, and payment records well-organised and properly recorded
- Monthly and quarterly financial reports prepared and submitted on schedule
- Compliance documentation maintained and audit-ready at all times
- Monitoring of budgets and insightful commentary on cost variances
- Meaningful contributions to special projects assigned by the accounting team
