Prepare and cook designated items on the menu within the specified time
- Ensure the production of all raw ingredients required for the preparation of all items on the menu.
- Ensure all food preparation are carried out according to the Standard Recipes and Operating Procedures.
- Ensure regular maintenance of all kitchen equipment, machinery and accessories.
- Responsible for ensuring all items prepared are done with the same level of quality and consistency.
- Assist in cooking and plating prepared items according to the standards
- Ensures proper labelling of food items after preparation.
- Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
- Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
- Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature
- Weigh, measure, mix ingredients and season and cook
- Maintains proper personal appearance, hygiene and sanitation.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
- Coordinate, substitute for or assist other cooks
- Performs all other tasks assigned by immediate superior
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.).

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
