Our Human Resources Team provides a best-in-class service to our employees and global organization. We provide support for day to day and operational issues and procedures. Our team partners with the business to provide reporting insights and to continuously improve our processes and performance.

In this operational role, you will be part of a regional team that executes multiple HR employee lifecycle processes, including job changes, offboarding, data & records, benefits related and time & absence. You will develop an in-depth, wing-to-wing knowledge of company HR operations, systems & processes, how to deliver ‘Best in Class’ service as well as continuous improvement skills.

As a HR Shared Services Specialist - Japan, you will be responsible for:

- Successful execution of HR Employee lifecycle processes
- Managing service delivery metrics and/or third-party supplier performance in relation to the assigned process(s)
- Driving increased productivity and compliance through process improvements, standardization and simplification within assigned area (s)
- Fostering a culture of customer service excellence and continuous process improvement
- Advising on complex questions/requests from employees, businesses and HR partners
- Developing effective relationships with stakeholders through strong interpersonal skills and proactive communication
- Maintaining high standards of accuracy, timeliness and quality to ensure compliance with relevant legal and Baker Hughes policy requirements

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Social sciences background or related area
- Have minimum 2 years relevant professional work experience
- Fluent in Japanese (reading, writing, conversing), fluency in English added advantage
- Have ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Have working knowledge of HR system (Workday) and proficiency in MS Office
