**Job Summary**: The Demi Chef plays a crucial role in the kitchen, focusing on the preparation and presentation of authentic Malay dishes. This position requires a passion for **Malay culinary traditions** and a commitment to delivering high-quality food in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic **Malay dishes**, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation.
- Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in menu development, including the creation of new recipes and seasonal offerings.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and proper food handling procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure kitchen efficiency.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of dishes.

**Qualifications**:

- Culinary degree or equivalent experience, with 2-4 years in a professional kitchen, specializing in **Malay cuisine**.
- Strong knowledge of Malay cooking techniques, spices, and flavor profiles.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Passion for food and commitment to culinary excellence.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
