Position Overview:
In this position you will have the opportunity to experience international business and manufacturing processes by interfacing with Insulet suppliers and contract manufacturers globally.
**Responsibilities**:
Purchasing Support all categories such as
- Direct materials (Tooling, molding plastic and metal stamping components).
- Indirect materials (Warehouse packaging, production aids and consumable, PPE, office stationery and pantry items)
- Direct and Indirect services for factory operation.
Supplier Management Support. Procurement Spend Data collection. Cost Reduction Pipeline support. Process Improvement Projects. Other tasks and projects as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
ERP systems and manufacturing processes experience is desirable. Strong communication & organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and strong sense of responsibility. Effectively work independently and collaboratively. Outstanding customer service. Highly proficient in Excel (example: Vlookup, Pivot table), Words and PowerPoint required. Sound business acumen.
