Equipment Sales Manager

**SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT**
1) Develop and implement sales strategies, plans and initiatives in the material handling market.
2) To identify and pursue new business opportunities in the project and rental market segments.
3) To develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION
4) Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions with customers to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
MARKET RESEARCH, MARKET ANALYSIS & SALES STRATEGY FORMULATION
5) To perform analysis on market trends & segmentation, customers’ needs and competitor offerings & their competitive advantage.
6) Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors and market conditions to inform sales strategies and tactics.
7) To provide timely feedback & action plan to management for strategic sales & marketing planning.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
8) Manage the sale budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources and achievement of financial goals.
SALES TEAM DEVELOPMENT
9) Train, mentor and develop the sales team to enhance product knowledge, sales skills and overall performance.
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP BUILDING AND CUSTOMER RETENTION
10) To shortlist potential customers such as engineering consultants, developers and major contractors throughconducting cold-calls, trade events, networking sessions and sales visits.
11) To maintain regular & friendly communication & follow up with key customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
12) To ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
13) To have good understanding on the profile and buying needs of existing and potential customers and expandcompany’s support and businesses, by providing professional pre-sales and post-sales technical support and services.
14) To prepare and submit monthly customer visitation and sales report to the top management.
1) Shall possess a diploma or a bachelor's degree in engineering. Additional certifications in marketing, business administration and/or hand-on experiences in these areas will be an added advantage. Shall be proficient with MS Words, MS Excel & PowerPoint Presentation software.
2) Shall have minimum 3 years’ experience working in the construction industry with proven sales of equipment and machinery products.
3) Shall possess strong communication, interpersonal, customer service mindset, and sales skills.
4) Shall possess the ability and skill to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
5) Shall possess excellent problem-solving skills in meeting customers’ needs.
6) Shall possess sales-driven ability to meet business targets and goals.
7) Shall possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to converse in English, Malay, and Chinese dialect
8) Shall possess own transport and ready to travel as and when is required to Klang Valley, and/or any places in peninsular Malaysia.
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
