**KEY RESULT AREAS**:

- Ensure efficient and effective running of costing & inventory operations monthly closing. Timely preparation and submission of monthly cost reports and analytical reports.
- Responsible in maintaining an accurate and reliable book of accounts and also ensure in compliance with generally accepted accounting standards and statutory requirements.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Prepare monthly inventory closing.
- Generate and prepare inventory reports for Management, Internal, and External parties as required.
- Provide monthly material consumption reports for cost reviews.
- Prepare and reconcile inventory reports, addressing discrepancies within the same month or within 60 days.
- Coordinate annual stock counts and reconcile with accounting records.
- Conduct monthly/quarterly cycle counts with the Logistics team.
- Review and resolve errors in the cost accounting system, assisting relevant staff.
- Support yearly audits related to inventory matters.
- Provide guidance to internal departments (e.g., Logistics/Production) on inventory issues.
- Develop desk procedures and reports for continuous improvement.
- Check computerized accounting system settings and recommend necessary actions.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

**Qualifications & Working experience**:

- Minimum requirement: Degree in accounting /equivalent professional.
- Fresh graduate or 2 to 3 year experience for Executive. Senior Executive of 3 years of experience.
- Familiar with ERP system.

**Soft Skills**:

- Fluent in English language and able to chair monthly meeting.
- Problem solving skill is added knowledge.
- Interpersonal Skills
- Able to work as team leader and team player.
- Able to work on minimum supervision.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,550.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
