Job Title: Account Assistant
Department: Finance & Admin
Reports to: Group Finance Manager
Location: Putra Heights, Subang Jaya, Selangor
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) in a timely manner.
- Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes, and debit notes to customers.
- Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments from clients and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Process and verify supplier invoices, staff claims, and other payment requests.
- Prepare payment vouchers and assist in cheque/online payment processing.
- Perform daily data entry of financial transactions into the accounting system (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, etc.).
- Assist in performing bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of all financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Assist the senior accounts staff with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Perform other ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by the superior.
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- Education: Minimum SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, LCCI, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience in an accounting role.
- Fresh graduates with a strong academic background are also encouraged to apply.
**Skills**:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, MYOB) is a strong advantage.
- High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Basic proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
