About us

As a Lead Motion Graphics Artist, you will guide the design and production of 2D and 3D motion graphics while nurturing and mentoring the Motion Graphics team in Kuala Lumpur. Collaborate closely with directors, provide artistic direction, and solve technical challenges to ensure project success. Elevate our Motion Graphics department by enhancing workflows and staying at the forefront of industry trends.

- Motion Graphics Team in Kuala Lumpur
- Project Lead & Team Members

**Roles & Responsibilities**

Duties include but are not limited to:

- **Motion Graphics Development**:

- Lead the design and creation of high-quality 2D and 3D motion graphics and animations for a diverse range of projects.
- Showcase creativity, innovation, and technical expertise to deliver visually stunning and engaging motion graphics.
- **Team Leadership and Collaboration**:

- Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of motion graphics artists, nurturing their growth and development.
- Collaborate closely with directors to understand project vision, provide artistic feedback to team members, and identify and solve technical challenges, ensuring successful project execution.
- Collaborate with the Motion Graphics Team in Kuala Lumpur to develop and enhance workflows, tools, and efficiencies within the motion graphics department.
- Promote a culture of common goals, clear direction, and accountability among the team.
- **Talent Acquisition**:

- Assist in the recruitment process by seeking out and interviewing new talent for the motion graphics department.
- Identify and onboard skilled individuals who contribute to the team's success.
- **Software Proficiency**:

- Demonstrate expertise in essential software tools, including After Effects, Cinema 4D, Redshift, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- **Trend Awareness**:

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in motion graphics and animation.
- Implement cutting-edge approaches to elevate the quality of motion graphics produced by the team.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in motion graphics design, animation, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in motion graphics or a related field.
- At least one year of experience managing small to medium-sized projects, demonstrating the ability to handle responsibilities beyond creative design.
- Deep understanding of the 2D and 3D motion graphics pipeline, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects and Illustrator.
- Expert-level proficiency in Cinema 4D and the Redshift rendering engine.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and resolving technical challenges.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM1,673.91 - RM6,343.20 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Motion graphics: 5 years (preferred)
- 2D & 3D Motion Graphics: 5 years (preferred)
- Cinema 4D: 5 years (preferred)
- Redshift: 5 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Kuala Lumpur (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Kuala Lumpur: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
