**The Company**

Our client is an international freight forwarding company. The company provides customers with efficient, cost-effective solutions and multi-modal transportation services around the world. The company has strong networks and offices in Europe, Asia, America, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East.

The Branch Manager will be responsible to oversee and manage the daily operations of the branch. The Branch Manager will lead a team of professionals, develop client relationships and drive branch profitability and growth.

**The Role**
- Oversee all aspects of branch operations.
- Develop and implement efficient operational processes for higher productivity and minimize cost.
- Ensure that the branch adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, industry and safety standards.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of freight forwarding professionals.
- Set performance goals and offer continuous feedback to support employee development.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment to encourage teamwork and employee engagement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and provide excellent customer service and meet client expectations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with the aim to expand the branch’s client portfolio.
- Develop and manage the branch P&L, budgeting, and monthly expenditures.
- Implement cost-effective strategies to enhance financial performance and provide financial reports and forecast to senior management.
- Promote a culture of operational excellence and work practices within the branch.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, competitor activities, and actively contribute to the branch's strategic plans and growth initiatives.

**The Requirements**:

- Bachelors’ degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in freight and logistics, with a track record of successful leadership.
- Strong knowledge of the Malaysian logistics and transportation market.
- Proficient in using logistics and supply chain management software.
- Familiar with customs regulations and international trade practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Result-oriented and exceptional customer service.
- Fluent in English and Malay; additional languages are an added advantage.
