Job Description
Responsible for the design and planning of own build and swapping of fiber demand management.
You will also be expected to understand the high-level architecture of the fiber and electronics network, end to end solution and technical parameters of equipment and accessories related to fiber infrastructure such as duct and manhole, implementation methods, fiber cable and accessories.

Your fiber planning and design responsibility covers the scopes below.

Perform design and planning for outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) of Celcomdigi fiber network, where scope includes but not limited to detailed route design, work package preparation, core assignment and database management and collaborate with the implementation and operation team to jointly deliver fiber to stakeholders from different business pillars.
Perform data migration from existing database into Fiber Management Tools (FMT). These inclusive of fiber KMZ route, handover document (HOD), core assignment (CA), single line diagram (SLD), manhole and any other accessories such as fiber ODF
Own the contractual and financial aspect relating to fiber build - optimizing design to maximize CAPEX efficiency and OPEX savings where possible to ensure that we are able to meet the objective of Celcomdigi network quality, capacity and cost efficiency. Manage approved investment with follow up on effect realization thereafter.
Initiate, lead or support sourcing activities as technical project manager or tech lead. Perform data analysis of requirements, formulate strategy, and collaborate with stakeholders such as sourcing and project team to develop sourcing strategy for operational efficiency activities.

You will also have the responsibility to be key person engaging regional MCMC or Industry or Government Agencies which related to fiber demand and planning.
Requirement
- Bachelor Degree (honors) in Electronics/Communications/Electrical majoring in Telecommunication from recognized university
- 2-4 years of experience in the area of fiber network planning and design. Possessing relevant experience in the fiber network delivery value chain from planning to rollout, quality and handover will be a plus point. Good knowledge in transport network technologies including but not limited to router, DWDM, and microwave network will also be a plus point.
- Proficient with Google earth to design fiber routes and fiber management tool.
- Good interpersonal skill and is able to interact/communicate effectively at all levels in the organization.
- Distinctive character, self-motivated, good leadership qualities, analytical skills, positive attitude, dynamic team player, proactive style of working, hands on and patient.
