**MAIN REQUIREMENT**: Read commercial project specification manuals & drawings. Prepare takeoffs (measure blueprints) using Bluebeam Revu (or Planswift), Incorporate addendums into the take-offs. Prepare markup legends. Transfer measurements from legends onto Excel spreadsheet and add drawing reference notes, to enable painting contractor to build and submit their bids successfully and accurately.

**MUST HAVE, OR BE ABLE TO DO THE FOLLOWING**:

- English: excellent command of written and spoken English, especially engineering vocabulary and terminologies. Able to communicate efficiently in a precise manner
- Attention to detail & Accuracy: skilled in discerning information in complicated documents and drawings
- Responsibility: have a superb sense of being punctual and service oriented. Ensure high accuracy of work and submit take-offs by required deadlines
- Be knowledgeable about various coating types: paints, epoxies, stains, etc.
- Have experience of 3-5 years of having worked as a commercial painting estimator. (Having worked at construction jobsites will be a bonus)
- Engineering degree related to construction field, or specialised Estimation certification. Proof of certifications will be required if chosen for interview, by Skype®.
- Excellent and reliable internet connection, and electricity, 24 hours per day.
- Quiet home office or room with proper desk, chair, computer equipment, backup computer.
- Facility with proper privacy to close out all noise form building and exteriors, to enable daily discussions about projects during daytime, and occasional late evenings, without interruptions from visitors, friends and family

**TRAINING AVAILABLE**:
For an applicant who has 3+ years of full-time estimation experience using **Bluebeam** or **Planswift**, but less than 2 years of commercial painting take-offs experience, paid training will be provided online, provided there is a commitment to become a fully productive, **full-time employee after 6-12 months.** Starting salary will be commensurate with skills and experience.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM1,800.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
