The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an
Electrical Estimator
to join our team in
Kuala Lumpur Eco City
. This permanent role will see you working across diverse and challenging projects, contributing to tenders and estimates that shape our pipeline of work across the region.

What You'll Do

  • Review customer enquiries, drawings, specifications, and commercial terms to prepare accurate estimates.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates covering labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor inputs.
  • Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Develop and submit comprehensive bids and proposals in line with client and project requirements.
  • Identify risks, uncertainties, and opportunities in project costs, incorporating contingencies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of calculations, assumptions, and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to confirm project scope and requirements.
  • Provide clear cost reports and ensure estimates comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

About You

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the Utilities, Industrial, Mining, or Transport sectors (Tier 1 or 2 contractor background preferred).
  • Proficiency with estimating software and digital take-off platforms.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  • HV and Control Systems experience highly desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
