Position: Safety Officer (Yellow Book)

Location: Banting

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Organize and conduct safety training programs for site personnel, emphasizing the importance of adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform regular inspections of the work site to identify unsafe conditions and practices. Take corrective actions as necessary.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures. Coordinate drills to ensure preparedness.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, analyzing root causes and implementing preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incidents.
- Conduct regular safety meetings to communicate safety policies, procedures, and best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Registered competent Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with the Occupational Safety & Health Department (DOSH) - **valid Yellow Book is a must for this position.**:

- Minimum 5 to 8 year of working experience from manufacturing industries is required for this position.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Applicant must be willing to be based in Banting.

Remuneration packages:
Basic: RM 4,000 to RM 7,000
EPF, SOCSO, EIS
