Key Responsibilities: 1. Operations Management: - Assist in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities. - Ensure the restaurant is properly set up for service and that all areas are clean and organized. - Monitor and maintain the quality of food, beverages, and service to uphold the restaurant's reputation. 2. Customer Service: - Interact with guests to ensure their needs are met and gather feedback to improve the dining experience. - Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner. - Train staff to deliver exceptional customer service and address customer needs promptly. 3. Staff Supervision: - Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new restaurant staff members. - Schedule and assign tasks to staff, ensuring efficient staffing levels for each shift. - Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to enhance staff performance. 4. Inventory and Cost Control: - Assist in managing inventory levels for food, beverages, and supplies to minimize waste and control costs. - Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure accurate ordering and receiving of inventory. - Monitor portion control and food quality to maintain cost-effectiveness. 5. Health and Safety Compliance: - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and sanitation. - Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential hazards. 6. Administrative Tasks: - Assist in maintaining accurate records, including sales data, staff schedules, and inventory reports. - Prepare and submit reports to the restaurant manager as required.
