Able to operate the CNC Plasma machine with less supervision.
- To have knowledge on set up the controller in CNC Plasma machine.
- To check on material for grade, thickness and size.
- Able to read blueprints, drafts, verify tolerances and checks parts against prints and always ensure that all the parts are being cut with quality and according to specs.
- To perform all functions associated with the CNC operation. Able to Start-up and shutdown procedures. Transfer of programs to and from the host computer, setting up the programs to produce required parts, originating programs from standard shapes, modifying programs from oxy-fuel to plasma and from plasma to oxy-fuel & adjusting kerf settings.
- Able to understand all functions in CNC i.e. plasma cutting tips / nozzle size and speed charts, oxy-fuel cutting tips and gas pressures, settings, standard shapes, keyboard to computer and appropriate instruction manuals.
- Able to perform and report daily, weekly and monthly operator preventive maintenance.
- Able to communicate problems with CNC shape cutter or any other equipment to leader, supervisor and/or maintenance to ensure problem resolution.
- Able to determine optimum plate utilization and minimize the scrap.
- To be responsible for safety and environmental issues regarding assigned area such as material handling, crane usage, vacuum lift usage, cutting torch, hot parts, lifting weight limits, proper eye protection (PPE) and maintain level water to minimize smoke.
- Able to handle all measuring instruments such as verniers, instruments and tapes.
- Always comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Able to complete any tasks given and report to the superior before the target date.

**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
